Critters in the Bitterroot

I was at one of my listing the other day and I saw these little guys messing around.  Apparently they didn't realize how exposed they were.  I'm sure I made them nervous which I should never make any living being nervous.

There were three of them and I think raccoons are the missing link because of their opposable thumbs which makes them soooo human.  He was in a cherry tree that was not cut down by George Washington.

They are so cute and I love their masks.  They are out to rob something and it probably will be your garbage if you are living in rural Montana.  They can be a problem, no doubt, but be gentle.  I live trap them at my place and take them down to the river.  I think they like that better than at my house.

Well, that's the story of Wildlife In Montana and the Bitterroot is full of great wildlife. Come and see us as soon as you can.
