My Mom was born in January of 1923 and what a classy lady she was. This is a picture of her with Char in the summer of her 90th year. Mom was blessed with great health. She did have heart disease but was paced since she was in her mid 80's. Essentially she had an extra 10 years with us because of that technology. She did go into an independent living facility in May of 2017. She then had some issues that put her into re-hab at the assisted portion of the same facility for a period of about a month. She was so happy to get back to her little one room home. Mom was lucky to have lived on her own in her own home up into her mid 90's and then a short stint in independent living until her passing in August of 2017 at the age of 94. Some are not so lucky and have to move to assisted or independent living much sooner.
