About Siphers Family Real Estate

In June of 1966, Willam D. Siphers moved his family from Lake County, Montana, to the oldest community in the interior Northwest; Stevensville, Montana. There Bill began his real estate career. He purchased the home you see in the panel to the left for $22,000. The home was completely full of antiques. Each of the 5 bedrooms had wonderful bedroom sets and the dining room set was eqsuite. Charline H. Mullen Siphers, his widow sold the home and the dining room set in 1989. She sold the home for a mere $165,000 and the dining room set for more than the Siphers paid for the home in 1966. Bill went on to run his insurance agency, Bill Siphers Insurance until his death in 1984 and was a real estate broker with Properties West Real Estate located that the intersection of The Stevensville Cut Off Road and Highway 93 just west of the little burg of Stevensville. His son, Craig Siphers, came back from New Orleans, Louisiana in March of 1984 prior to Bill's passing to take over the insurance operations. In 1987, Craig began his real estate career with his good pal, Pat G. McNulty. Within three years, Craig started his own company, Big Sky Land and Development and was instrumental in the development of Lee Dayton Addition, Phase II in Stevensville. In 1994 Craig joined Victor P. Ralls at Properties West where his dad had been when he passed. Craig became a full partner. In 1997 he joined Prudential Ranch and Land in Hamilton, Montana, for a brief period before joining Rocky Mountain Log Homes sales staff and the real estate firm of Diamond Bar S which was developing the real estate and homes in the exclusive Stock Farm Club east of Hamilton, Montana. Craig left Rocky Mountain Log Homes and Diamond Bar S in 2004 and reignited Properties West Real Estate with Vic Ralls' son Rob. In 2007 Craig became the broker for a new franchise called EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley and has been with the EXIT Real Estate brand since. Craig has has successfully operated or been involved in insurance, financial services, real estate, oil and gas, log home and construction businesses in Montana, North Dakota, Louisiana or Arizona over the past 38 years. Craig has worked with many individuals and corporations to affect beneficial real estate transactions not typical of less experienced practitioners. He has acted as an expert witness in real estate litigation as well as acted as chairman of condemnation and eminent domain actions.

He was joined by his sister, Charline May Siphers, in 2020. Char works out of the Polson EXIT office and has a broad background in property management.

Erica Siphers joined Siphers Family Real Estate in 2020 and has a degree in accounting and a degree in finance. Her degree work and work experience spans auditing construction companies as well as working in hard money lending and residential lending. Her areas of expertice are in business valuation and commercial real estate lending and provides a convenient one-stop approach to the real estate buying public.
